About

It all started with a fleeting curiosity when, in the summer of 2013 after nine years as a Seattle resident, I realized I knew nothing about the building I’ve called home for most of that time.  (Rather odd considering I have a degree in history. So I did a little research and before I knew it, I had enough material to tell a story.  However, I asked myself, why stop there?

So now I'm writing this column in which I hope to tell more of the history of Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood by way of its structures and the people who built and occupied them.
